Welcome to Areds2Shop. These terms apply to your use of our website and to any order you place with us. Please read them carefully – by using the site or placing an order, you agree to them.

1. About us & these terms

Areds2Shop (areds2shop.co.uk) is operated by J.T.H Imports, a VAT-registered business in the United Kingdom (VAT registration number 519 0317 09). In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Areds2Shop. If you have any questions, email us at enquiries@areds2shop.co.uk.

2. Our products & a note on health

We supply genuine Bausch + Lomb PreserVision AREDS 2, imported and held in UK stock. AREDS 2 PreserVision is a food supplement. It is not a medicine and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and it is not a substitute for a varied diet or for professional medical advice.

Always consult your optician, GP or pharmacist before starting any supplement – particularly if you have a medical condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or take other medication or supplements. Any product information we provide is given in good faith and does not constitute medical advice.

3. Orders & acceptance

When you place an order you are making an offer to buy. We'll send you an order confirmation email, which acknowledges your order but does not by itself mean we have accepted it. A contract between us is formed only when we dispatch your order.

We may decline or cancel an order – for example if an item is out of stock, or if there has been a pricing or description error – and if we do, we'll refund any payment you've made in full.

4. Prices & payment

All prices are shown in pounds sterling (£) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery is free within the UK (see section 5).

We take payment through secure third-party payment providers; we do not see or store your full card details. If we discover an error in the price of an item you have ordered, we will contact you to confirm whether you wish to continue at the correct price before processing your order.

5. Delivery

Delivery within the United Kingdom is free, sent by Royal Mail Tracked. We dispatch orders twice a week, and most parcels arrive within 2–4 working days of dispatch. Delivery times are estimates and cannot be guaranteed.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Once a parcel is with Royal Mail we are not responsible for delays outside our control (for example during busy periods, adverse weather or industrial action). Full details are on our Delivery Information page.

6. Your right to cancel (cooling-off period)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you normally have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason. To cancel, email us at enquiries@areds2shop.co.uk with your order number.

Important exception: because our products are health supplements supplied in sealed packaging for hygiene and safety reasons, the right to cancel does not apply once the packaging has been opened or the seal has been broken. Unopened, sealed items can still be returned as set out below.

7. Returns & refunds

In addition to your statutory rights, we accept returns of unopened, unused products in their original sealed packaging within 30 days of delivery. To start a return, email enquiries@areds2shop.co.uk with your order number and we'll explain how to send it back.

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we'll email you to confirm your refund. Approved refunds are made to your original payment method, normally within 5–7 business days. For hygiene reasons we cannot accept opened or used supplements back unless they are faulty. See our Refund & Returns Policy for full details.

8. Faulty or damaged items

If an item arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, please email us within 48 hours of delivery (with a photo if it is damaged) and we'll arrange a replacement or refund. This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

9. Privacy & data protection

We handle your personal data in line with the UK GDPR. We collect only the information we need to process and deliver your order and to communicate with you about it, we use it only for those purposes, and we do not sell it. You have the right to access, correct or request deletion of your data. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

10. Intellectual property

All content on this website – including text, images, logos and product descriptions – belongs to us or our suppliers and may not be copied, reproduced or reused without our written permission.

11. Our liability

We take care to ensure that product information and prices on our website are accurate, but occasional errors may occur. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the website or our products.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under UK law.

12. Using our website

You agree not to misuse our website – including attempting to gain unauthorised access to our systems or introducing malicious code. We may suspend or withdraw your access if you breach these terms.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the version in force at the time you place your order is the one that applies to that order.

14. Governing law

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
